WeldingDroid ApS, Håndværkervej 8, 6600 Vejen, Denmark (CVR 40410538), is responsible for personal information used in Weld Planner. Contact contact@weldingdroid.com with privacy questions or requests.
Information we use
When you register or receive a link, we store your name, company, email address, access dates and status. We store joint dimensions, materials, process settings, approved passes and optional test notes you enter. We record actions such as opening the planner, changing a calculation, approving a pass and opening a PDF, with their time, process and customer or trial link. Card details are entered with our payment provider, Stripe; Weld Planner stores payment and subscription references and status, not card numbers.
Why we use it
We use registration and access details to deliver the service and administer subscriptions (contract), payment records to meet accounting duties (legal obligation), and usage events to understand service use and improve the planner (legitimate interests). We use an optional browser identifier for unique visitor statistics only if you allow analytics cookies. You may reject that cookie and still use the service.
Shared approved settings
When you select Approved, the joint geometry and pass settings contribute to a shared reference pool. Other Weld Planner users may receive recommendations based on those settings. The shared recommendation does not include your name, company, email address or test notes. Settings can still reveal commercially sensitive know-how; enter and approve only data your company is permitted to share. Contact us to ask about removal of contributed settings.
Cookies and measurement
Essential cookies keep the WeldingDroid admin session (up to 12 hours), remember the browser used to approve passes (up to one year), and remember your cookie choice (six months). With your permission, an analytics cookie remembers a browser for up to one year so our internal report can estimate unique browsers. Without that permission, action totals can still be recorded but no persistent analytics visitor ID is set. You can change your choice at any time using .
Who receives it and how long it is kept
Our hosting and payment providers process information needed to run Weld Planner and subscriptions. We keep account and activity records while needed to provide access, manage customer relationships, handle disputes and meet legal duties. Payment and accounting records are kept for legally required periods. Revoking or deleting a link stops access; it does not automatically erase historical activity or approved settings.
Your choices and rights
Write to contact@weldingdroid.com to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of applicable data, or to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may complain to Datatilsynet. Some requests may be limited by legal duties or other rights.
